Best Players From the PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major

The first CS2 major has come to an end, and what an impressive tournament it was! NaVi's impressive 2-1 win against FaZe was quite commendable, and the entire playoffs stage was incredibly entertaining and captivating. We had an excellent time both in person and watching the event from home, and we hope you did too!

In this article, we are going to be taking a look at the best players from the PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major! We will be going down a list of players who performed the rest in the tournament, and some of these may just surprise you!

m0NESY

While G2 suffered an unfortunate semifinal exit, m0NESY still proved that his talent is worth far more than the $600,000 that the team paid for him a few years ago. This is his third major performance, and the young GOAT only seems to be getting better. He had an impressive HLTV rating of 1.37 over 14 maps and 314 rounds played. He put up 269 kills and just 174 deaths for a KD ratio of 1.55, earning him an average damage per round of 86.6 and a kill-per-round ratio of 0.86.

donk

It's definitely not much of a surprise that donk is next up on the list. The 17-year-old protege is brand new to Tier 1 but already popping heads like a demon in the server. Though Team Spirit was eliminated by FaZe in the Semifinals, their performance in the elimination stage is deserving of recognition, and nobody deserves recognition more than donk. He barely fell below m0NESY with an HLTV rating of 1.35 across 8 maps and 191 rounds. He got 172 kills and just 129 deaths for a KD ratio of 1.33, an average damage per round of 94.6, and a kill per round ratio of 0.9.

Brollan

Next up is Brollan, who caught many viewers off guard with his convincing performance with MOUZ until the team was eliminated by G2 in the Quarterfinals. Brollan played just 6 maps but earned an impressive HLTV rating of 1.30, and while his 95 kills - 77 deaths is impressive, what is more impressive is his insane headshot percentage of 52.6%. He also boasts great ADR, KPR, and Impact statistics which can be seen in the image above.

torzsi

Falling just 0.03 rating points behind his teammate is torzsi, who earned 95 kills and 71 deaths over 6 maps for a KD of 1.34 and an HLTV rating of 1.27. Torzsi had a much lower headshot percentage compared to Brollan at 36.8%, though his impact, ADR, KPR, and KAST ratings are all commendable.

Ax1Le

With an identical rating to torzsi but a slightly lower KD ratio, Ax1Le comes in as the 5th best player of the first CS2 major. His 126 kills and 103 deaths for a ratio of 1.22 over 8 maps isn't the most convincing evidence for his rank, but his impressive headshot percentage of 53.2%, solid KAST, ADR, and KPR ratings, and insane impact, sure prove that he is deserving of lots of credit, perhaps more than he has been given.
