Celebrities That Play CS2

Sometimes it's hard to picture a celebrity(other than a celebrity gamer of course) playing a video game, probably because we are used to only seeing them doing what they are famous for, whether it is playing sports, performing music, or acting in movies. But as weird as it may be to picture, tons of celebrities play video games, and there are a plethora of them that enjoy a game of CS2 every once in a while, or even more often than that. In this article, we will showcase a few of the most famous celebrities who play CS2. Let's dive in!

Neymar

Arguably the most famous person ever to play CS2, professional Brazilian soccer/football Neymar has been known to play and watch CS2 matches on a regular basis. He first started playing CS:GO around 2016, when he met FalleN, coldzera, TACO, and fer back when they were the core of the SK Gaming team. According to certain stat trackers, Neymar made it up to Legendary Eagle Master, played plenty of matches with professional players like s1mple, and even once knifed ZywOo in the back during a match, a feat that few can say they have done. Plus, he has an incredibly stacked inventory with over $100,000 in CS2 skins!

Zinchenko

It doesn't stop there for soccer/football players who play CS2, because Oleksandr Zinchenko, who plays for Arsenal FC, also plays CS2, and even owns a team called Passion UA. Around a month ago, Passion's fifth player wasn't able to make it to a match against BLEED, so Zinchenko had to sub in, and he didn't even put up too poor of a performance with a KD of around 0.85!

Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson

Who said gamers were weak? Hafthor Bjornsson not only played the role of The Mountain in Game of Thrones, but also won the title of Worlds Strongest Man in 2018, and set the world record deadlift of 501 kg in 2020. The record has since been beaten, but what won't be beaten is Hafthor when it comes to CS2, because it turns out he is quite the best inside the server.

Henry Cavill

Cemented in acting history thanks to his incredible performance as Superman, and it turns out he is quite the gamer too! He has been playing video games since he was a kid, and thanks to a little bit of investigative journalism, we were able to find what seems to be his Steam account, though we are quite suspicious of whether it is him or not. Regardless, if it is him, he has quite the roster of games, with CS2 being his second-most-played game at over 2,600 hours! The only thing he is lacking is skins, with just $37 in skins which are all from his weekly drops.

Soulja Boy

With more than 12,000,000 monthly listeners, Soulja Boy is likely the most famous musical artist to play Counter-Strike. On September 11, 2016, Soulja made a Tweet with a link his Steam account asking for people to add him to play CS with him. He has also streamed his fair share of times over the years.

Nikola Jokic

Clearly, CS2 isn't limited to soccer/football players, because the legendary basketball icon Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is quite the gamer himself. A few years ago, he told reporters that he and Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic "play Counter-Strike a lot together." But since we can't find his Steam account, we have no way of knowing whether he is as good at CS as he is on the basketball court.
