Galil AR | Kami Pattern Guide

Galil AR | Kami Pattern Guide

The Galil AR | Kami is one of the more unique skins in CS2, featuring a monochrome design inspired by Japanese calligraphy and old-school prints. Unlike other pattern-based skins, the Kami series (which includes the Five-SeveN) doesn’t have rare gems or fades, but positioning and orientation do make a difference for collectors. Let’s break it down.

The Kami Pattern

The Kami pattern template is a repeating, black-and-white design filled with Japanese-style characters and symbols. Since this is a full-wrap skin, every Galil Kami will have a different section of the design positioned on the gun. However, certain placements are more desirable than others.

Pattern Variance & Desirable Looks

While there are no specific “rare” patterns in the traditional sense (like Blue Gems for Case Hardened skins), some players prefer patterns with:

  • More black sections: Gives the gun a bolder, high-contrast look.
  • Minimal text clutter: Cleaner aesthetic without overwhelming characters covering key areas.
  • Symmetrical designs: A pattern where the calligraphy flows evenly across the body instead of looking chaotic.
Tier 1 761, 620, 888, 411, 234, 983,
Tier 2 542, 120, 903, 868, 411, 702, 721, 248, 505
Tier 3 638, 306, 494, 761, 576, 130, 152, 282, 777, 300
Pattern Template: 761

Note: Opposite to the Five-SeveN, the Galil patterns aren't as desirable or rare. So don't expect any overpay since the difference between the tiers is minimal.
