Highlight Skin Showcase: FalleN 1v3 against Falcons

Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo joined FURIA in July 2023, alongside fellow Imperial teammate Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes. Their results haven’t been great, with FURIA no longer being the dominant force in Brazil, let alone North America like they were in the COVID-19 pandemic. The recent arrival of Felipe “skullz” Medeiros from Liquid has prompted a small uptick in form, but nowhere near enough for FURIA and Brazil to be fighting for the highest honors in Counter-Strike once again. Improvement is needed, and ESL Pro League Season 20, with a 16-team playoff bracket, is a perfect chance to have a playoff run.

In their first series, FalleN’s men faced up against a similarly struggling Falcons, eventually prevailing over three maps. One of the highlights of the match was on the final map - Dust 2, where the “Professor” managed to pull off a spectacular 1v3, catching the Falcons during a lapse of concentration, much to Danny “zonic” Sørensen’s disdain.

Let’s take a look at the skins used by one of the most legendary players in the Counter-Strike scene during his clutch.

Throughout the clutch, where he caught the international roster off guard, FalleN was using an interesting red and blue combo. He was sporting his trusty pair of Moto Gloves | Cool Mint in Well-Worn alongside his gorgeous Factory New Butterfly Knife | Crimson Web, which is one of the rarest knives in the game. The Moto Gloves | Cool Mint are a compelling choice, but not anywhere near the most popular in the game. They are bulky, hard-knuckle gloves with an arctic color scheme and geometric patterns, worth under $400. The two-time Major winner pairs these up with his Butterfly Knife | Crimson Web, worth around $6K in Factory New. The Crimson Web finish has a black handle which contrasts with a crimson blade that is covered in spider webs. The Butterfly Knife is known as the knife with the best animations in the game, adding to the price.

In this clip, the Brazilian veteran sniper was using a StatTrak™ AWP | Asiimov in Battle-Scarred condition. The AWP | Asiimov is one the most popular and recognizable AWP skins in the game, being added back in February 2014 as part of the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case. The Asiimov finish has a sci-fi design, with the predominant colors being orange, white and black. This specific AWP was one with a high float, typically above 0.9, known colloquially as the “Blackiimov”. This is where the AWP | Asiimov has a totally black scope and these skins are hard to put a price on but very desirable. FalleN certainly put it to good use on Dust 2, angering the entire international quintet with his clutch.
