MVP Skin Showcase: iM - IEM Rio 2024

Since their final appearance at the BLAST Premier Spring Final in June, Natus Vincere have become the best team in Counter-Strike, making six finals in a row and winning three events. The international quintet’s three wins since their triumph at the PGL Major in Copenhagen have seen three different MVP winners, showcasing the high level at which every roster member is playing at. It was Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy who spurred them to victory at the Esports World Cup, Justinas “jL” Lekavicius who powered them to a trophy lift at ESL Pro League Season 20 and this time out it was Mihai “iM” Ivan who was deemed the most valuable in Rio.

As said, all members of Natus Vincere are hitting career-best levels, which says more about Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen’s leadership than anything, with all four members having an argument to be deserving of the MVP in Rio de Janeiro. It was ultimately iM, the Romanian rifle star, who was awarded the MVP medal after a 1.15 average rating throughout the event. He was the eventual winner partly due to his stellar performance in the final, where he topped the board in the tight-fought match against MOUZ but also his statistics in map wins at IEM Rio, where he is by far a standout if you select for just those games.
