Top 5 Cheap AWP Skins

During the past twelve years, Counter-Strike has implemented many different changes and innovations, with the biggest being the transition to Counter-Strike 2 in September of 2023. Throughout this time there have been many new maps, new weapons, alterations to the economy and many other miscellaneous updates. One of the most famous updates in Counter-Strike was the Arms Deal Update, which brought the first weapon skins to the game and the rest is history.

In CS2, there are over forty different AWP finishes to choose from in Counter-Strike 2, with the most recent addition being the AWP | Chrome Cannon, added through the Kilowatt Case at the start of the year, a weapon finish that misses out on the list, not because of its looks but due to its price, just missing out on what we would consider cheap.

So, with that said, let’s have a look at our top five cheap (<$25) AWP skins in Counter-Strike 2.

5 - AWP | Mortis

First on our list is the AWP | Mortis, a skin that one could call a budget Dragon Lore.  In Factory New coming in at around $8, the AWP | Mortis features a mixture of green, brown and gold, with a beast as the focal point of the skin. The design also uses a Death tarot card as inspiration, all coming together to create a spectacular finish, especially on the cheap.

4 - AWP | Exoskeleton

Next on our list is the AWP | Exoskeleton, valued at around $10 in Factory New. The AWP | Exoskeleton is a majority gray skin, featuring multiple shades of gray and blue at different wear conditions. The Exoskeleton has a metallic finish, with patterns of interlocking skulls all surrounding the fox which acts as the centerpiece of the skin. The metallic structure of the AWP | Exoskeleton also has a 3D look, causing the design to pop.

3 - AWP | Fever Dream

Slightly more expensive, at $13 in Minimal Wear, the AWP | Fever Dream is a skin with character, taking heaving inspiration from graffiti art. The dominant color of the design is pink, with blue and white also featuring heavily in the design. The whole finish is these graffiti-like drawings atop a black base, creating a moody yet stunning AWP skin.

2 - AWP | Atheris

Our second favorite in this price range is the AWP | Atheris, which is valued at $15 in Factory New condition. Like all the best skins in Counter-Strike, the AWP | Atheris features an animal as the focus of the design, with the Atheris having a striking green and blue bush viper spanning the AWP. This design has been painted over a black base, with the viper being as deadly as it is beautiful.

If you are looking to emulate a flamboyant AWPer, like Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, on a budget, then the overwhelmingly pink AWP | Chromatic Aberration is the pick for you. Valued at $19 in Factory New and $13 in Minimal Wear, the Chromatic Aberration combines pink, white, red and black to create a particularly eye-catching AWP skin. There is iconography all over the AWP | Chromatic Aberration, with the colors applied in offset positions, leading to an almost trippy look.
