Top 5 Cheap FAMAS CS2 Skins
Counter-Strike, the franchise we all know and love, has been around since 1999. In that time many changes and innovations have been implemented, with the biggest and most famous being the recent transition to Counter-Strike 2 from CS:GO in September of 2023. Throughout this time there have been a huge amount of changes including lots of new maps, new weapons, alterations to the economy and many other miscellaneous updates. One of the most revolutionary updates from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was the Arms Deal Update, which brought the first weapon skins to the game.
The FAMAS in Counter-Strike 2 is a budget rifle for Counter-Terrorists and is often used with economy management being so crucial on the CT side. It has two modes - automatic for close combat and a burst mode for better accuracy, which isn’t often used. It deals moderate damage and is useful for saving money while still being effective in mid-range fights. There are a wide range of skins to choose from for the FAMAS, with the most recent addition (prior to the recent update) being the spectacular FAMAS | Waters of Nephthys.

Valued at $9 in Factory New and $5 in Minimal Wear, the FAMAS | Mecha Industries kicks off our list. A mix of white, black and red, the Mecha Industries design takes inspiration from science fiction with an incredibly futuristic look. The FAMAS | Mecha Industries is very clean and perfect for anyone who loves that sort of minimalistic aesthetic.
4 - FAMAS | Roll Cage
Next up is the FAMAS | Roll Cage which was added through the Gamma 2 Case in 2016. The Roll Cage design takes its inspiration from a mud-splattered car chassis, with the body of the FAMAS being covered in decals and advertisements. This unique skin is valued at approximately $11 in Factory New and $4 in Minimal Wear.
3 - FAMAS | ZX Spectron
The cheapest on our list is up next, the FAMAS | ZX Spectron added through the Operation Riptide Case in 2021. The ZX Spectron, similar to the Mecha Industries is an incredibly clean and sleek design with a black base, red accents and a multicolor stripe down the center. The FAMAS | ZX Spectron can be purchased for under $5 in Factory New and $2 in Minimal Wear.
2 - FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement
Second on our list is the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement, the most recent of the list, being added in the Dreams & Nightmares Case in 2022. The Rapid Eye Movement has regions of pink and purple with interlocking squares filled with lifelike eyes which are incredibly creepy. This skin is incredibly eye-catching (no pun intended) and can be purchased for $6 in Factory New and $2.5 in Minimal Wear.

Topping our list is the FAMAS | Commemoration, a skin valued at $12 in Factory New and $6 in Minimal Wear. The Commemoration, being entirely gold, isn’t to everyone’s taste but is almost a historical piece with features that pay homage to various details celebrating twenty years of Counter-Strike. The names of maps are towards the rear of the weapon, various agents and a defuse kit towards the center and the world map seen on the loading screen towards the front. A beautiful design, celebrating all things Counter-Strike.
