It feels almost criminal that this hadn’t been done sooner; it’s that perfect of a fit, but the world’s first AWP | Desert Hydra with a Virtus.Pro (holo) | Katowice 2014 now exists! A collector, known as AwakE, has placed this congruent $5000 sticker on a Factory New Desert Hydra, itself worth around $2300.

As his debut Katowice craft, this piece holds an indelible place in Awake’s collection, inspired by none other than leafy. After months of deliberation, he finally took the Virtus.Pro holo that had been idling in his inventory and applied it to his AWP, making this a 1/1 craft.

I've been thinking about doing a craft for a long time, and heard multiple people talk about crafting this specific one a few times. But no one seemed to ever do it, and i asked leafy for some inspiration last month, where to he suggested this. I had a VP holo laying around, and when i came back from vacation i decided to finally get it done.

It's my first ever kato craft, so i wouldn't consider myself a crafter at all. I'm more of a collector, but decided to spice it up. If i find something uncrafted i really enjoy i might be tempted, but i can't say for sure haha. Atleast mo plans of doing something soon.

Awake
