Due to the large surface area of the Gut Knife, the knife is never wholly covered in the deep blue colour. Even the #1 pattern - Pattern #567, only shows up with 69% of blue on the playside and 25% on the backside. Its minimal wear variant has been sold for $3k many years ago, while the Field-Tested version has received bids of $600-800.

Then comes the Tier-2, that starts with Pattern #165, with a price tag ranging from $300-500. It has 64% of blue on the play-side, and 42% on the back-side. As the tier drops for the Gut Knife, so does the price tag, coming down to $170 for regular field-tested Case Hardened variants.
