Karambit | Case Hardened Blue Gem Patterns

The Karambit Blue Gem is the pinnacle of CS2 skins. May players are aware of the iconic Karambit | Case Hardened Pattern #387, which was estimated to be worth $1.5 million all the way back in 2021, suggesting that it is now worth over $2,000,000! However, while the 387 pattern may run you millions of dollars, there are plenty of other Blue Gem patterns that you can buy!

This guide features 4 Tiers of Karambit | Case Hardened Blue Gem Patterns. Each Tier has less and less blue as you go farther from Tier 1, but even Tier 4 patterns have good amounts of blue on them! Without further ado, let's get into the pattern guide.

It’s not fair to put the pattern #387 blue gem among the Tier 1 Karambits, so we have made it its own tier! The Karambit | Case Hardened pattern #387 is the absolute best blue gem pattern in the game. The knife’s entire play side is covered in blue, with the exception of a tiny dot of purple on the side, but we like to say that spot adds character.

Tier 1

4, 73, 269, 417, 442, 463, 470, 776, 809, 853, 868, 888, 902, 905

There are just 14 Tier 1 blue gem patterns, making them extremely rare and valuable. Tier 1 blue gems have an almost completely blue playside with the exception of some small spots of yellow. The more blue the playside has, the more sought-after and expensive the pattern is.

Tier 2

34, 74, 82, 130, 150, 152, 236, 256, 262, 303, 321, 322, 346, 375, 406, 413, 453, 494, 503, 507, 509, 510, 541, 550, 601, 643, 661, 698, 727, 770, 811, 823, 828, 914, 955

Tier 2 is less selective than Tier 1, with more than double the amount of patterns falling under the tier than in the previous one. Tier 2 blue gems feature more yellow than Tier 1, and often have yellow in the corner and tip of the knife.

Tier 3

9, 11, 20, 25, 30, 57, 59, 92, 112, 138, 139, 154, 179, 182, 216, 246, 265, 273, 282, 306, 310, 323, 330, 341, 366, 400, 426, 429, 450, 490, 499, 515, 530, 553, 575, 580, 631, 655, 664, 670, 711, 713, 721, 798, 838, 841, 844, 849, 852, 856, 891, 917, 965, 989

Tier 3 blue gems still have a lot of blue on them, especially compared to non-blue gem patterns. These skins usually have a bit more than 60% of the skin covered in blue, making them a great choice if you have the means to buy a Karambit | Case Hardened Blue Gem, but don’t want to spend your entire net worth on one!

Tier 4

38, 85, 106, 109, 122, 128, 146, 194, 244, 259, 334, 335, 371, 381, 398, 405, 407, 420, 430, 455, 472, 485, 487, 488, 522, 539, 555, 563, 571, 595, 615, 616, 637, 638, 639, 644, 676, 694, 728, 766, 782, 796, 803, 810, 814, 822, 916, 919, 935, 942, 961, 970, 974

The final tier of Karambit Blue Gem patterns has more than triple the amount of patterns as Tier 1, making it less selective and thus less sought after. However, don't be deterred by the amount of patterns, because Tier 4 Blue Gems can still be great patterns with a fair amount of blue on them, with sometimes up to 50% of the play side being covered by blue!
