Trade Protected Items. New CS2 Update!
We have known for some time that this update was coming. The announced end of Premier Season 2 was expected to bring slightly different changes to what we got tonight. Many were betting on a more serious rotation in the competitive map pool, the return of Cache or a new Anticheat system, yet we got something much more interesting.

In this article, we will focus on just one section of the update that sounded fascinating enough to get its own story. If you are curious about the rest, we invite you on behalf of Valve to visit their official website: counter-strike.net
Trade Protected Items
Valve has been trying for a long time to combat rouge Steam users who climb to the heights of their skills to steal not only accounts, but especially CS2 skins.
So-called Scammers have been around forever, and Valve has taken many “scammer targeted” steps to stop their activity in the Counter-Strike world. They have done this in a variety of ways, introducing a 7-day trade hold, adding extra confirmation for trades, warning messages about potential scams, and temporarily blocking trades after a nickname changes, but even this was not enough. What did we get this time?
Trade Protected Items
Today we are introducing a new feature to help keep your Counter-Strike items secure. In the unlikely event that you lose control of your account or were the target of a scam by a bad actor, you may reverse all Counter-Strike item trades from the last 7 days.
Obviously we hope you'll never need it, but you can review your recent trades and find the trade reversal feature on the Trade History page on your Steam Account. For more information about what happens when trades are reversed, visit the FAQ
How does it look like?

Information about possibility of reverting the trade right before confirming it on your mobile device.

Possibility to revert the trade that can be found in: Steam User » Item Inventory » Trade History and consequences of the action.
It is worth mentioning that reverting the trade will result in not being able to Trade and use the Steam Market for 30 days! More detailed information can be found in FAQ as Valve suggested before.
Future after the update
As is standard with any major update that includes skin or trading changes, many people are starting to panic. Some are once again returning to pessimistic moods and claims that trading in CS2 is dead. We reassure you by reminding you that there have been many moments in the history of skins, even worse than this one, in which similar voices have been raised. It is standard practice to wait for the situation to cool down. However, we know that skins in CS2 will do well, and the community will find ways to trade efficiently.
In this situation, BitSkins will be a great choice. Because our market is based on BOTs, and because of that there is no risk of the trade being reverted, which means you won't have to worry about us deciding to withdraw the offer.
