Background
The Djinn are one of the more curious groups of people in the modern world. Although they possess great power in controlled doses, They are incapable of maintaining corporeal form for longer than 48 minutes without resting within a vessel. As a result, most Djinn employ human bodyguards for transport, protection, and companionship.
Mirage is one such bodyguard. Employed by Djinn ambassador Nashala Dion, Mirage is in New York on a diplomatic mission. It's the hope of the Djinn that they can negotiate with the US government for a sale of part of
Wyoming so that they can build a sovereign nation for their people.
Hero Overview
Mirage can envelop himself in a violent tornado to catchup to enemies and lift them up. His scarabs help him sustain against multiple enemies, and he's always ready to help an ally or punish an enemy anywhere.
Tornado
Mirage transforms himself into a tornado that travels forward, damaging enemies and lifting them up in the air. After emerging from the tornado, he gains bullet evasion. The first upgrade increases the lift duration by 0.4 seconds, and the second upgrade reduces the cooldown by 14 seconds. The last upgrade grants +20% Bullet Evasion Chance.
Fire Scarabs
Mirage starts launching fire scarabs. Each scarab can be launched separately, stealing max health from enemies and applying bullet resist reduction. Mirage can't apply multiple scarabs to the same enemy. The health he gains from hitting heroes is 3x as effective as against non-heroes. The first upgrade reduces the cooldown by 15 seconds, the second upgrade reduces enemies' bullet resist by 10%, and the final upgrade grants +80 Max Health Steal.
Djinn's Mark
This is a passive ability that allows Mirage's shots to apply an increasing multiplier on the target. When the multiplier on a target expires, or he reaches the max, it's consumed, and the target suffers Spirit Damage and is briefly revealed on the map. The final damage is the base damage times the multiplier. The first upgrade applies 80% slow for 0.5 seconds whenever Mirage applies a 2x multiplier or higher. The second upgrade increases the multiplier duration by 4 seconds and the base damage by 10. The final upgrade reduces the cooldown between multipliers by 0.8 seconds and grants a +4 max multiplier.
Traveler
This is a channeled ability that allows Mirage to target an ally or visible enemy hero on the minimap and then teleport to where they were when his channel started. After teleporting, he gains move speed and fire rate until his next reload. The first upgrade grants +2 m/s move speed, the second upgrade reduces the cooldown by 40 seconds, and the final upgrade makes it so that on arrival, Mirage is immune to stun, silence, sleep, root, and disarm for 3 seconds.
